VIP/Village options
Kendal Calling offers several upgraded camping and comfort options rather than relying solely on a conventional VIP ticket.
Deer Lodge: Boutique camping with additional comforts, including hot showers and a pamper area.
Emperors Field: Upgraded campsite located close to the arena, with free hot showers, dedicated parking and its own arena entrance.
Great Plains: Upgraded campsite approximately five minutes from the arena, offering hot showers, adjacent parking and a dedicated arena entrance.

Festival rules
Age requirements: Visitors aged 16 and over may attend without an adult. Those aged 11–15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 21 or over. Children aged 10 and under must also be accompanied by an adult.
Alcohol: Reasonable quantities of alcohol may be brought into the campsite on the first entry, but glass bottles are prohibited. Alcohol cannot be taken into the arena.
Prohibited items: Drugs, nitrous oxide, liquid fuels, selfie sticks, two-way radios and other restricted items are prohibited.
Security: Festival security and stewards operate throughout the site and may conduct searches.
Cashless: Kendal Calling operates as a cashless festival, so visitors should use cards or supported mobile payment services.
Re-entry: Visitors can leave and return during the weekend, subject to the festival’s entry procedures and security checks.
Public transport after the festival
Penrith Station is the main rail connection for Kendal Calling visitors. The festival provides a dedicated train shuttle bus between Penrith Station and the festival site, with tickets available through the official festival ticketing system.
After the festival, visitors should check the final shuttle timetable before travelling to Penrith. Coach services and other organised transport options may also be available for the return journey.
